1. Who does what
We coordinate. The hospital treats. The hospital is an independent medical provider and has no employment, agency or partnership relationship with us.
We arrange the hospital introduction, the appointment, interpretation, the visa invitation letter, travel and accommodation, and the medical documents you take home. We do not practise medicine.
2. What we do not do
This list matters more than the one above:
- We do not diagnose, treat, or advise on medication.
- We do not recommend a particular drug, device, implant or brand.
- We do not promise any clinical outcome, survival time or quality of life.
- We do not accept liability for a medical accident, complication or hospital-acquired infection.
- We do not collect your hospital money. You pay the hospital directly.
- We do not answer for a hospital's scheduling changes or a surgeon's availability.
- We do not provide emergency medical services. In an emergency, call 120.
3. What you confirm
That the records you give us are complete and accurate, including previous conditions, allergies and current medication. That you will make your own treatment decisions and sign the hospital's own consent form. That you hold a passport valid for at least six months and are responsible for your own entry permission.
4. Money
Our service fee is separate from, and additional to, the hospital's charges. It is agreed in writing before any work starts and does not change if the hospital revises its estimate.
Hospital charges are paid by you, directly to the hospital, in the stages its international department sets out. Flights, accommodation, visas and insurance are separate again.
5. If you cancel
The refund depends on how far the work has gone: full refund within seven days of signing if we have not started; a partial refund once we have contacted the hospital or obtained a written estimate; no refund once a visa invitation letter has been issued, flights are booked, or you have arrived in China.
Refunds of hospital charges follow the hospital's own policy. We will help you apply, but the decision is theirs.
6. The limit of our liability
Our total liability under the agreement is capped at the service fee you have actually paid us. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or distress. We are not liable for harm caused by the hospital's medical treatment, by information you withheld, or by events outside our control such as visa refusal, epidemic or a change in policy.
This cap does not apply where we have acted deliberately or with gross negligence — that limitation is imposed by law, not by choice.
7. Your records
We ask for your explicit, separate consent before transferring medical records to a hospital in China. That consent is a standalone document, not a clause buried in this agreement, because handling health data requires it. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not undo processing that has already happened.
8. If there is a dispute
Complaints about medical care go to the hospital. Complaints about our coordination come to us first, and we will try to resolve them directly. If we cannot, the agreement names the governing law and the forum — ask us for the current wording before you sign.
9. The paperwork you will actually sign
- The service agreement — the commercial relationship, in the language you read.
- A separate consent and data authorisation — explicit permission to transfer your medical records to a named hospital in China.
- The hospital's own consent form — signed at the hospital, in Chinese, with an interpreter present.
10. Ask before you sign
If any of this is unclear, ask us and we will explain it in writing. A term you did not understand is not a term you agreed to.
